About us

Klimatstrejk Uppsala / Fridays For Future Uppsala is a movement that began in Uppsala during the fall of 2018, inspired by Greta Thunbergs school strike. It’s a non-partisan network of individuals and organizations that arrange climate strikes every Friday at 3-5 p.m. at Forumtorget in central Uppsala. The goal of the movement is to demand our community leaders listen to climate scientists, limit global warming to 1,5 degrees and to ensure climate justice. Klimatstrejk Uppsala is a part of the global Fridays For Future movement. Pictures from our climate strikes.
